(Cincinnati)---Middletown High School grad Kyle Schwarber says he had over 100 friends and family in attendance during Sunday's Futures Game at Great American Ballpark. He did not disappoint, hitting a two run triple and throwing out a base runner en route to USA's 10-1 win over the World team during All-Star Sunday. Schwarber was awarded the game's MVP. He told WMOH Radio he was thrilled to play in the ballpark where he attended ball games as a kid. Reds Single A Pitcher Amir Garrett was awarded the win, giving up a run on three hits in the 3rd inning.
