Schwarber Comes Through In Front Of Hometown Fans


(Cincinnati)---Middletown High School grad Kyle Schwarber says he had over 100 friends and family in attendance during Sunday's Futures Game at Great American Ballpark. He did not disappoint, hitting a two run triple and throwing out a base runner en route to USA's 10-1 win over the World team during All-Star Sunday. Schwarber was awarded the game's MVP. He told WMOH Radio he was thrilled to play in the ballpark where he attended ball games as a kid. Reds Single A Pitcher Amir Garrett was awarded the win, giving up a run on three hits in the 3rd inning.


Police Investigate Deadly Shooting


(Hamilton)---One man is dead and two others wounded after a weekend shooting in Hamilton. The incident happened early Sunday morning on the 100 block of Walnut Street. First responders found two injured males when they arrived on the scene. One of the victims was flown to University Hospital by Air Care, and the other was taken to West Chester Hospital. A short time later, police found a dead between two houses in the same area. No arrests have been announced, and the ID on the victims have not been released by authorities.
