Teen Hit By Vehicle In Trenton

(Trenton)---Trenton police are investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that sent a 17 year old boy to the hospital by helicopter. The accident happened just before 7:30am on the 100 block of W. State Street. The boy, who was reportedly struck by an SUV, suffered a broken arm and leg, according to police reports from the scene. Care Flight airlifted the teen to Miami Valley Hospital. Madison Township Fire Department/EMS assisted Trenton at the scene.

Update: Parents of Wandering Child Located

(Hamilton)---Hamilton police were investigating a report of a 4-5 year old boy who was found alone and barefoot near the UDF at Main & Brookwood early this morning. The child reportedly suffered an asthma attack and had to be taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital. Police tell WMOH the parents have been located, and police along with Butler County Children Services are investigating.

Last Day To Register To Vote

(Hamilton)---Monday was the final day to register to vote in the November election. The Butler County Board of Elections was staying open until 9:00pm in order to handle the last minute requests. Board of Elections Director Lynn Kinkaid says he expects voter turnout to reach 51% this year. Early voting begins Tuesday at the Butler County Board of Elections on Princeton Road. The board will be open 8a-5p on the first week of early voting.
