Advice Line Radio

A rare duo, brothers David and Alan Masters cohost the program, offering listeners advice and coping strategies for dealing with an increasingly complicated and stressful world. From tackling problems such as stress and social anxiety to the challenges of social media, David and Alan offer useful solutions in a funny and friendly manner. Always topical, Advice Line uses a blend of current news, science and psychology to address the larger problems affecting listeners every day.

Host, David Masters – Educator, Lecturer & Radio Personality Since 1979

After a nearly catastrophic surfing accident at the age of 18, David began his long time practice of meditation on his spiritual journey. After more than 1,500 hours of learning to "let go" of the push and pull of his own thoughts, David arrived at a point where he realized that everything existed only in the present moment. Since then, he has mastered mindfulness meditation. In 2008 he became the lead Lifeline Trainer for Patriot Outreach, where he assists military veterans in overcoming trauma-based issues. For 28 years he has produced and helped develop 6 of the top 10 syndicated, talk radio personalities. In addition, David has also won multiple awards in social media creation for his work with the Weta Workshop of New Zealand.

Host, Alan Masters

Alan Masters is an award winning radio and television host, a 30+ year broadcast and media professional, a serial entrepreneur, and avid automotive enthusiast. A successful businessman, a faithful husband and father of 4, he currently enjoys spending his free time with his two grandchildren. Alan Masters is an advocate and spokesperson for Patriot Outreach; an organization focused on the meditation exercise known as “Coping Strategies”, utilized and approved by all branches of the military in overcoming trauma-based issues. This ground breaking program has been made available to all military service men, women, veterans, retirees, government civilians, battlefield contractors and their families.
