(COLUMBUS)--The fourth time was the charm as member schools of the Ohio High School Athletic Association approved a competitive balance proposal. Schools will be placed into post season tournament divisions taking several modifying factors into consideration, including the size of the school's enrollment, where the student's parents reside, and the educational system history of the student. All schools will be subject to the formula, which will be used for football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball. The plan will become effective during the 2016-17 school year. The measure passed by 88 votes.
