(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP)--The Ohio State Auditor's Office has placed St. Clair Township under a state of fiscal emergency. Auditor Dave Yost (pictured) says significant deficits the past two years prompted his office to take action. The deficit for 2012 was $24,914 and for 2013 it was $190,159. The township will now come under the oversight of a financial planning and supewrvision commission. Trustees must come up with a financial plan to solve the crisis within 120 days of the commission's first meeting.
