(Hamilton)-Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says an inmate being released from the county jail asked his mother to bring heroin, and she did. She ended up spending Mother's Day behind bars.
24 year old William Hoadley (pictured above) and his mother, 54 year old Robin Kelley (pictured below) were arrested less than two minutes after his release from jail. Both were charged with Felony Possession of Drugs. The sheriff's office says jailers seized 1 gram of heroin, a syringe, and other paraphanalia during last Thursday's incident. The arrests marked the end of a busy day for the sheriff's Undercover Regional Narcotics (BURN) Task Force. BURN agents arrested 35 year old Keith Goldsmith after finding crack cocaine and heroin at his Gordon Smith Boulevard apartment. The task force also reported finding ICE (methamphetamine) during a raid on Harvard Street. 31 year old Shawna Mason is facing multiple drug charges.
