FAIRFIELD — The Butler County OVI Task Force will conduct a sobriety checkpoint tonight in Fairfield. The checkpoint will operate from 7 until no later than 10 p.m. on northbound U.S. 127, or Pleasant Avenue, at Symmes Road. The checkpoint is part of the task force's ongoing effort to reduce alcohol- and drug-related crashes, injuries and fatalities.
