Middletown police say one person is dead and another is seriously injured after a shooting late Sunday morning. Officers were called to the 2100 block of Roosevelt Boulevard just before noon on a report of a man and woman with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was rushed to Atrium Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
