The City of Middletown will be getting a new fire chief. City Manager Ashley Combs has appointed Deputy Chief Brian Wright to take over the Chief's job now held by Tom Snively, who is retiring soon. Wright joined the department in 2002, and quickly rose in the ranks over his 23 year career. He is a graduate of Talawanda High School and Eastern Gateway Community College.
