The Butler County OVI Task Force has scheduled a checkpoint in West Chester tonight, Friday May 9th. The operation will begin at 7:15pm and last until 10:00p on westbound Tylersville Road at Crosley Boulevard, which is right in front of the VOA Museum. The checkpoints, along with saturation patrols, are funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the Ohio Department of Public Safety. They are meant to reduce the number of OVI related crashes resulting in injuries and fatalities.
