Butler County farmers are eligible for low-interest disaster loans from the US Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency. Butler and five other Ohio counties have been declared primary disaster areas due to the recent drought. Adams, Brown, Clermont, Coshocton, and Hamilton Counties were included in the declaration as well. Preble County farmers will also be eligible for assistance, because they are contiguous to Butler County.
