A Fairfield man has been ordered held under $250,000 bond for allegedly firing shots at an apartment building next door. 49 year old Walter DeLong made his first appearance in Fairfield Municipal Court Thursday. Fairfield police say DeLong fired several rounds into an apartment building on the 1500 block of Sherwood Drive. He was arrested by a SWAT team without incident. Judge Joyce Campbell set a preliminary hearing for May 11th at 1:00pm. He was also ordered to hire an attorney before a May 9th status hearing.
