(Ross Township)--Funeral services were held for a Ross Township firefighter Monday. 23 year old Brandon Lee Sparks, who had recently celebrated 5 years with the fire department, died in a motorcycle crash in Reily Township last week. Speakers at the funeral described Sparks as someone who loved to make people laugh, pulling pranks on fellow firefighters and family members. After the services at Charles Young Funeral Home, there was a procession to Venice Cemetary for a burial with honors. Hamilton City, Morgan Township, Harrison, Colerain, and St. Clair Township firefighters covered the fire calls for the township during the visitation and funeral.
