CANTON--Sean Carr's two yard touchdown run with just over a minute to go lifted the Chardon Hilltoppers to a 21-14 win over the Badin Rams in the Division-III State Championship game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. Badin senior running back Jack Walsh scored with a two yard run in the 2nd Quarter and Carter Russo had a six yard run in the 3rd for the Rams, who finished the season at 14-1 and state runner-up. Walsh ran for 96 yards on 27 carries. Sophomore quarterback Alex Ritzie was 7-of-16 for 62 yards, and was sacked three times by Chardon's tough defense. The Hilltoppers have won two Division-III state titles in a row.
