ELECTION RESULTS 2021

(Fairfield)--We now know who is replacing Steve Miller as Fairfield's mayor. Mitch Rhodus won the hard fought mayor's race over Debbie Pennington, who had led after the counting of early voting ballots. Miller is term limited from running again.

(West Chester)--Two candidates endorsed by the Butler County Republican Party won the top two spots in the Lakota School Board race. Isaac Adi and Darby Boddi were the top vote getters, followed by current board president Kelly Casper. Adi and Boddi campaigned against Critical Race Theory, as well as mask mandates.


(Hamilton)--Hamilton is getting a new city council member. Badin High School Assistant Football Coach Joel Lauer finished third in the field of five in Tuesday's city council race. Michael Ryan was the top vote getter, and he will become the new vice-mayor.  Tim Naab was also re-elected to council, finishing second.
 

(Middletown)--Middletown's former police chief is the top vote getter in the city council race. Rodney Muterspaw picked up 36% of the vote. Zack Ferrell came in second with 24% of thevote.
 

(Hamilton)--Butler County voters approved all but one issue that was on the fall ballot. Voters in College Corner as well as Mogan and Ross Townships voted yes on fire levies. New Miami voters rejected a police levy. A countywide MetroParks levy passed.

 

(Hamilton)--The Butler County Board of Elections says 19.5% of registered voters cast a ballot in yesterday's election, amounting to just under 50,000 votes.
