Hamilton City Council will get their first look at a proposal to expand the DORA program in the city, including longer hours and expanded boundries. In a report issued to council, City Manager Joshua Smith and Jacob Stone with the Department of Neighborhoods says the expanded boundries include Heaton Street from MLK Boulevard to North 8th Street, Maple Avenue from MLK to 7th Street, and Park Avenue from North B Street to Eaton Avenue. The program would also operate extended hours, beginning at 9:00am and lasting through midnight. Currently, DORA hours are from12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight. An October 27th public hearing is planned on the proposal.
