The owner of the Spooky Nook development at the old Champion mill updated Hamilton City Council about the project Wednesday night. Sam Beiler says they are now booked solid with sports tournaments from April through August of next year, and they may book earlier dates, depending on the progress of construction. Beiler says the tournaments should draw 8,000-10,000 visitors a day to the city. Beiler says the collapse of the frame for building 500 during a severe windstorm in March affected the project, but now they've finally been able to start moving the steel that had been on the ground hampering construction. Beiler says they've also contracted with an orthapedic practice, Orthopedic Associates of Southwest Ohio, to set up a 22,000 square foot office in Mill One of the sprawling development.
