Three Dead In West Chester Fire

Three people are dead after an early morning trailer fire at the Princeton Crossing Mobile Home Park in West Chester. Fire Chief Rick Prinz tells WMOH News the fire broke out around 12:41am on the 9100 block of Erie Circle. A police officer smelled smoke in the area, and discovered the blaze. Firefighters pulled three victims from the burning trailer, and took two of the injured to UC Hospital West Chester and one to Mercy Hospital Fairfield. All three succumbed to their injuries, and were pronounced dead. A firefighter was also taken to UC-West Chester for treatment of apparent heat exhaustion. Prinz says the Ohio Fire Marshals office has been called to assist with the investigation into the cause of the fire.
