Voice Of America Museum Plans For Growth

WEST CHESTER--The National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting will add new space, and will allow groups and organizations to hold meetings and events at the historic site in the near future. Executive Director James Dominic told West Chester Trustees this week the museum will re-open in early April for weekend tours.
The VOA site has been closed because of COVID-19.
Dominic says a major grant from the late Elliott Block will result in a pavillion named in his honor. A new 2200 square foot multi-purpose hall will be added, along with a catering prep area, and ADA compliant restrooms. The museum will also provide a barrier-free entrance in order to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dominic says they also plan to expand the number of hours and days the museum will open.
