HAMILTON--Hamilton City School Superintendent Michael Holbrook finally had some good news for the school board during Thursday night's meeting. Holbrook says prom and graduation will take place for seniors this spring. Last year's class missed out on prom, and had to settle for a virtual commencement ceremony at the Holiday Auto Theatre. With district staff now vaccinated, and COVID cases dropping, Holbrook is confident the spring traditions can resume, with social distancing protocols being observed. Holbrook says the graduation ceremony will be held outdoors at Virgil Schwarm Stadium in late May. Previous ceremonies were held at Miami University's Millett Hall. Holbrook joked they will be praying for good weather, but an alternative date will be selected just in case.
