The Lakota School Board awarded Superintendent Matt Miller with a five year contract extension Monday.
Miller has been with the district since 2017, and board members say he has launched a number of successful programs and initiatives. "Not only has he done some phenominal work within our district, in moving our student's education and our teacher's professional growth forward," said Board President Brad Lovell "he's also been recognized at the state and national levels."
Under the new deal, Miller will make a baseline salary of $192,000/yr with a 1.9% raise over each of the five years.
Miller will also make a $30,000 performance annuity, among other benefits. The extension will take effect January 1st.
