Hamilton City Leaders and officials with Saica Group held groundbreaking ceremonies at the site of the company's new facility at 2995 McBride Court in Hamilton Enterprise Park. The company is planning a 350,000 square foot facility where corrugated paper products will be made, marking a return of the paper industry to Hamilton. The $72 million facility is the first North American plant for the Spanish based company. Saica plans to employ 64 workers in Hamilton, including 27 skilled operators, 15 manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain professionals, 13 sales staff, and 9 office and management jobs. State and local tax credits helped secure the facility, which is expected to be completed by March of 2022.
