(Wilmington)--Butler County may see it's first measurable snowfall of the season. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for 1-to-3 inches of snow between the hours of 6:00pm this afternoon and 8:00am tomorrow. Temperatures will plunge into the teens, which will make for some slick spots during the morning rush hour. The Butler County Engineer's Office is ready after holding their annual snow and ice roadeo this past Thursday. A release from the Engineer's Office says they begin the season with 13,000 tons of salt, stored in two barns. Last year, the county used 4,696 tons of salt, which is significantly less than the average of 6,200 spread in a typical winter.
