HAMILTON--The City of Hamilton is planning an expansion of the Miami 2 Miami bike trail linking the Great Miami and Little Miami rivers. Under a plan in front of City Council tonight, the city would team up with Butler County MetroParks to construct an extension of the trail from By-Pass Four to the Gilmore Ponds area. The cost of the section of trail is expected to be $637,580, but the OKI Regional Council of Governments has provided $510,064 worth of grants, which dropped the local share to $127,516.
