Holiday Fatalities Down

(Columbus)--The Ohio State Patrol says 12 people died in vehicle crashes over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. That's the fewest number of fatalities in four years. The Patrol says the lack of seat belts resulted in two deaths, one was OVI related, one wasn't wearing a motorcycle helmet, and two of the victims were pedestrians. Last year, 18 people died on Ohio roadways.
