Racial Slur Brings Protests To Miami

(Oxford, Ohio)--A race related controversy is brewing on Miami University's Oxford campus. Protesters are demanding a student's expulsion for allegedly writing a racial slur in a group text, and later bragging about it in a Tinder post over spring break. President Gregory Crawford has taken notice, saying he is saddened and frustrated. He says once again words and symbols of hate and intolerance have been directed at members of the Miami community. A group of students held a demonstration at the Armstrong Student Center yesterday, and today they gathered with signs at the Farmer School of Business.
