The National Weather Service office in Wilmington issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00am on Tuesday morning. Visibilities were reportedly a less than a quarter mile in low lying areas. Motorists should use extra caution. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range due to low visibilities.
