(St. Clair Township)---St. Clair Township fire fighters are investigating the cause of a large plastics fire at the Advanced Drainage Systems facility on U.S. 127 between New Miami and Seven Mile. Smoke from the blaze could be seen for miles. Fire Chief Larry Anglin was the first to arrive on the scene, and he discovered dozens of skids of plastic pipe fittings fully involved in flames. Dozens of firefighters from several area departments were called to the scene, along with the Butler County Emergency Management Agency, The EPA, and the Red Cross. No injuries were reported, and no contamination was found.
