(Wilmington)--The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory from 9am until 6pm. The agency says winds will pick up late this morning with gusts of up to 50mph. High profile vehicles could get tossed around a bit on the highway and there may be some tree or branch damage. The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma says the area is also under a marginal chance for severe thunderstorms this afternoon.
