Liberty Center Announces Partnership

(Liberty Township)---The developers of the Liberty Center project announced their first community partner during a news conference at the construction site Thursday. Yaromir Steiner with Steiner + Associates says Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center has signed on to sponsor The Discovery Zone, an interactive children's play area. The hospital will also collaberate on the creation of a community and event center on the $350 million development.

Liberty Center officials also unveiled the street names that pay tribute to several civic leaders including:

 

Niederman Way: Pays tribute to Bob and Janet Niederman

                            of Niederman Farms.

 

Taylor Street: In honor of former Fire Chief Henry Taylor.

 

Haskell Street: In honor of former Fire Chief Lawrence Haskell.

 

Maus Lane: In honor of the first Fire Chief Frank Maus.

 

Wyle Street: Named after former Bethany store owner J. Wyle.

 

Wissman Court: Named after educator Harold Wissman.

 

Liberty Center is scheduled to hold its Grand Opening on October 8th. It features retail space, office space, restaurants, 240 apartments, a movie theatre, and a 130 room AC Marriott hotel.
