(Hamilton)---Butler County was under a Tornado Watch and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning on Monday, as a cold front moved through the area. There were two waves of storms, the first causing wires to arch near the Goggin Ice Center on Miami University's campus, and the second causing lightning strikes and a power outage in Fairfield Township. A transformer blew in the area of Route 4 and Greentree, and live power lines caught a nearby tree on fire. Storms with high winds knocked over two semi rigs on I-70 near Richmond, Indiana.
