Marchers Mark Roe vs. Wade Anniversary

(Hamilton)---Around 200 people marched seven times around the Butler County Courthouse Thursday night, marking the 42nd anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion. "It is the Supreme Court of the United States that has erected the legal protection to the unmerciful killing of children...babies," said Mike Mignery with Butler County Right To Life "the decimation that has occured in the wombs of many mothers and of course, the fathers have been left on their own, outside this decision." The marchers were led by a man carrying a large wooden cross, along with the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard, and trumpeters who sounded their shofars with each trip around the courthouse. The group said a prayer during each trip, asking for an end to abortion and the conversion of those who work for or support support the industry.
