(Hamilton)---Outgoing Hamilton School Superintendent Janet Baker looked back on 22 years as the city's top educator during her final State of the Schools speech in front of the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and Hamilton Rotary. Some of the major accomplishments that happened during her tenure included President Bush signing the No Child Left Behind act in 2002, the district being named the Best Urban School District in Ohio, the establishment of character education, and the 15 year, $250 million building program. Baker promised to support the district and the new superintendent after she leaves at the end of the school year.
