(Hamilton)---A new era begins today for the City of Hamilton's police and fire departments as former Police Chief Scott Scrimizzi takes over the newly created position of Director of Public Safety. The police department will be led by new Police Chief Craig Bucheit, who will report to Scrimizzi, along with Fire Chief Steve Dawson.
