(Liberty Township)---Two men were killed when their bi-plane crashed into a residential neighborhood in Liberty Township Saturday morning. Butler County Chief Deputy Anthony Dwyer says they started getting calls from neighbors on Sunrise View Circle around 8:55am. The plane apparently clipped the side of a house before coming to rest in a backyard, and bursting into flames. Firefighters had to spray foam on the wreckage to extinguish the blaze. The red bi-plane was apparently owned by four men who would take turns flying the aircraft. The house that was clipped by the plane has been ruled uninhabitable by building inspectors. The neighbor's house received exposure damage from the fire. The names of the victims will not be released until they are positively identified using dental records. The FAA dispatched a couple of investigators to the scene.
