Double Homicide Suspect Has Violent Past

(Hamilton)---A man arrested for allegedly killing two people in Lindenwald this morning has a long, violent history, according to a check of Hamilton City court records this morning. 55 year old Alfred Ike Rutherford has been arrested on a number of charges since 1989, including Robbery, Kidnapping, Attempted Rape, Felonious Assault, Drug Abuse, Resisting Arrest, and several OVI's. Rutherford was captured hours after he fled this morning's scene in a red 4 door Ford Escort. He was found walking alone on Joe Nuxhall Way near Joyce Park. He was not armed. Police later found the car on Williams Avenue.
