(Hamilton)---Fire caused the evacuation of a factory in Hamilton's North End this morning. The flames broke out after 10:00am Monday at GRK Manufacturing Company on Dayton Street. No one was injured in the blaze. The sprinkler system kept the flames from spreading before firefighters arrived. Thick black smoke was coming out of the east side of the building when first responders arrived on the scene, according to Assistant Fire Chief Kenneth Runyan. Firefighters encountered a small fire and quicly put the flames out. No dollar estimate on damage, and there's no word when the plant will re-open.
