(Hamilton)---The Ohio Fire Marshal's Office is investigating Friday's explosion and fire that injured two men on Hamilton's West Side. Firefighters, police, and witnesses at the scene tell WMOH Radio that two men were inside rehabbing the house at 830 Ross Avenue when an explosion blew off the roof of the house at 3:34PM. One of the men was able to escape, but the second was still in the upper floor of the house. A man who was driving by rushed inside the burning home and carried the victim out just before the house collapsed. The upstairs victim was taken to Fort Hamilton, then transferred to UC Hospital's burn unit by Care Flight. The man who rescued the victim was taken to Ft. Hamilton to be treated for smoke inhalation. There is no word on what triggered the blast.
