Commissioners Solve Dispatch Billing Quandry

Butler County Commissioners have come up with a solution for some townships and villages experiencing sticker shock after the Butler County Sheriff's Office started billing them for 911 dispatch services. The commissioners have approved a resolution allowing the use of CARES Act funding to foot the bill for Fairfield, Ross, and Oxford Townships, as well as the villages of New Miami and Seven Mile, and Butler County Metroparks. The total price tag is over $392,000.
Here are the amounts that were owed, according to the resolution:

Fairfield Township:   $219,637.92
Ross Township:  $75, 780.00

Oxford Township: $34,650.96

Village of New Miami:  $47,541.96

Village of Seven Mile: $ 5,763.96

Butler County Metroparks:  $6,999.00
