(Hamilton)--The City of Hamilton will be holding a public information meeting over recent flooding issues. City Manager Joshua Smith says the forum will be held on Wednesday, September 21st from 6pm to 8pm at the Hamilton High School auditorium. Homes and businesses that were flooded back in June also experienced high water on Thursday and Saturday after 3-to-4 inches of rain fell onto the area. The city has already been doing smoke and dye testing on homes in Highland Park. City leaders are also looking into a plan to have the city pay for check valve installations to keep sewage from backing up into homes.
