Butler County Auditor Roger Reynolds says he has now saved local governments over 10 million dollars since he took office eight years ago. This year's disbursement of surplus real estate fund money is a record 2 million dollars. The Lakota School District is getting the largest cut, a 462-thousand dollar windfall. Reynolds says his office has always done more with less in order to allow local cities, villages, townships, and school districts the opportunity to use the money for much needed projects.
